Editor & rendering

Open a project from Projects to enter the editor. It is a real three-track timeline with a canvas preview, built for cutting the shots you generated.

#Timeline

  • Three tracks: video, text and audio. Each track can be muted or locked.
  • Drag clips, trim from either edge, split at the playhead, duplicate, with snapping and zoom.
  • Transport from the keyboard: play/pause, step, jump to start or end.
  • Transitions: cut, dissolve, dip and whip.
  • Animated captions on the text track, and a procedural score on the audio track when you want music without generating it.
  • Content credentials per clip: which model made it and from what prompt.

#Adding media

The Media panel (below 1280 px wide it opens as a sheet from Add) has three sources:

SourceWhat you get
GenerateMake a new shot in place; it is priced and charged like any render.
StockCleared NASA footage plus avatars, backgrounds, overlays and textures.
UploadYour own files: images up to 12 MB, video up to 64 MB, audio up to 20 MB, media up to 10 minutes.

Selecting a clip opens the Inspector on the right (desktop only), where the Director tools can be run on that clip directly.

#Export

Export renders the timeline to WebM at 720p, 1080p or 4K (2160), with an optional burned-in Everyframe mark. Export is a real-time capture, so a 30-second timeline takes about 30 seconds. Set your usual resolution and watermark choice once under Profile → Export defaults.

#Where projects live

Projects are stored in your browser (localStorage) and do not sync between devices. Use Profile → Security and data → Export to take everything with you as JSON, and Clear local data to wipe this browser.

Renders and uploads themselves live on Everyframe's servers — see Projects, assets & gallery for retention.
